In line with its commitment to improving workplace safety, employee health, and environmental protection, Ehya Sepahan Iron Ore Mines Company has launched the HSE Smartization Project. Designed to automate HSE management processes, prevent incidents, and strengthen the company’s safety culture, the project has reached 75% completion and is progressing steadily through its implementation phases.
Phase 1: Software Evaluation and Procurement
- Joint sessions and software demos were held to assess the specific needs of the HSE department.
- Requirements were carefully reviewed to ensure the selected software met all organizational standards.
- Upon approval, the procurement request for the HSE software module was submitted, and contract negotiations and deployment preparations are currently underway.
Phase 2: Risk Mapping and Smart Safety Mechanisms
- High-risk zones across the site were identified using existing data and risk analysis.
- The HSE team began designing predictive mechanisms to reduce incident likelihood.
- The software module enables integrated logging, tracking, and reporting of incidents, risks, and corrective actions.
