Business Intelligence (BI) Project
To enhance executive decision-making, increase operational transparency, and improve productivity across departments, Ehya Sepahan Iron Ore Company has launched the Business Intelligence (BI) Project. This initiative is designed to build an integrated data analysis system, complete with management dashboards and precise reporting tools. The project is currently in its implementation phase, with 90% completion.
Initial Implementation
In the early stages, key actions were taken, including the procurement and installation of specialized BI modules for various departments such as warehouse, logistics, sales, finance, payroll, and human resources. After initial setup, the system was deployed in the operational environment to ensure that all data and processes are managed in a unified BI platform.
Key Features
One of the standout features of this project is the launch of management dashboards with predefined KPIs, enabling performance monitoring, key metric analysis, and delivery of analytical reports to executives. The next phase involves providing access to all departments, allowing them to view and analyze their data within the BI environment.
A data validation process is also underway, particularly for sensitive information such as HR and payroll data, to ensure that inputs are accurate and reliable. This step lays a solid foundation for strategic planning and enables precise, transparent analysis of organizational performance.
Project Benefits
The BI project offers a wide range of advantages, including:
- Enhanced managerial decision-making through real-time, accurate data
- Greater transparency and data integration across departments
- Reduced human error and improved reporting accuracy via unified data sources
- Continuous monitoring of KPIs and trend analysis across the company
