Sepahan Ihya Iron Ore Mines Company was honored as the country’s exemplary mining unit at the Industry and Mining Day ceremony in the presence of Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Mehdi Karbasian, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMIDRO, Jafar Sarqini, Deputy Minister of Mining, Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, and other dignitaries from the country’s industrial and mining fields.
Hadi Golzar, CEO of Sepahan Ihya Iron Ore Mines Company, said on the sidelines of the Industry and Mining Day ceremony that this year, with a production of more than 4 million tons, we have witnessed a 30 percent increase in production:
Given the increase in production of more than 30 percent, Sepahan Ihya Iron Ore Mines Development Company has succeeded in receiving a plaque of appreciation as the country’s exemplary operator, while the company’s first concentrate production plant with a capacity of 900,000 tons has also been put into operation.
He also mentioned the construction of Phase 2 and 3 of the concentrate production plant as the company’s future plan and said:
Phase 2 and 3 of the company’s concentrate production with a capacity of one million tons are among the company’s other plans, which will be put into operation within the next 5 months, based on the plans made.
Golzar pointed to the increase in production of 5 million tons and said:
Due to the company’s move from granulation production to concentrate and pellets, we are witnessing an increase in production quality, which will bring higher added value to the complex.
