Strengthening and Developing the HSE Unit to Safeguard Human Capital at Sepahan Iron Ore Mine
The workforce is one of the most valuable assets of any company and forms the foundation of economic and social development. For this reason, protecting workers’ health and optimizing the work environment hold great significance.
In this regard, the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) unit of the mine began its operations simultaneously with the establishment of the mine. Initially, the unit started with just one expert, but as the mine expanded, both the human and material resources of this department were increased. By 2021, with the support of the company’s CEO and in line with the commitment to protect human capital, the number of HSE personnel grew to 50.
